Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Franklin Memorial Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our current highly skilled hospitalist team. The hospitalist service has a daily census of 20-25 patients. This position is an exempt position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. The Nurse Practitioner will become a member of the hospital medical team at Franklin Memorial Hospital, admitting, discharging, and caring for inpatients with medical diagnoses and helping to co-manage surgical and orthopedic patients. S/he will participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds, help ensure compliance with CMS core measures, and help facilitate timely discharges from the inpatient unit. The Nurse Practitioner will participate in the quality initiatives of the hospitalist service and complete records in a timely fashion. This position will use CPOE and PDOC for clinical order entry and documentation and participate in medical staff service and committee meetings. Qualifications: # State of Maine License. # Graduation from an approved Acute Care NP program or Physician Assistant program. # Experience with hospital medicine preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
